VISIOtrain, software for saccade training

VISIOtrain is a training software to improve visual orientation. The software is based on scientific evidence on explorative saccade training from Odilia Vision GmbH (Germany). With VISIOtrain new vision methods can be trained and consolidated. The software can be controlled easily, and it leads you through the training with a preprogrammed pattern. Findings from independent scientific studies with hemianopia patients and stroke patients have shown, that saccade training can affect visual orientation positively, which leads to a higher self esteem and quality of life. VISIOtrain is available in 18 languages (including German and English), and it can be used on a standard PC or Laptop, which can run Java. For windows, Linux and Apple computers. The software comes on a USB stick, which contains the licence. Developed by Odilia Vision GmbH (Germany), a spin-off from the University eye clinic of Tübingen. VISIOtrain is not a medical product, but a training software.

Technical details

VISIOtrain comes as a software on a USB stick, and does not have to be installed. It automatically starts in the language in which your operating system is currently set. The available languages of VISIOtraing currently are:
