IResT - International Reading Speed Texts (German, Art.-No.: 81731)

IReST is an internationally comparable reading speed text, used in both practices and clinical studies.

Functional details

IReST can be used by eye doctors and optometrists, for checking the reading speed and compare it to international standards. It consists of 10 texts in the language, so one person can be tested several times in a row. Clinical studies are now possible using IReST, as the scientists have found texts that are comparable in between different languages. The test is conducted under normal daily life circumstances: Black font on white background.
