Stefanie Wöhrle joines our team at VISUS

We are extremly happy to announce, that our longterm business partner Mrs. Stefanie Wöhrle has joined our team at VISUS in Stuttgart! Mrs. Wöhrle has started to work for us on October 1st 2020 in Stuttgart, where our first show room is also located. In the VISUS Contactlinsen clinic, specialized on contact lenses, she "finally wants to work closer with patients again". Besides complicated lens cases, she will treat patients with visual disorders using her vision training skills. She will also be the new contact person for all our eye care specialists and other professional customers at VISUS Sehteste (www.visus.de)

Mrs. Wöhrle is currently part of a Masters program at Aalen university in Germany, called "M.Sc Vision Science and Business (Optometry)". This new knowledge is going to be used at VISUS by her, closely with patients and customers. Thus, we are extremly happy to be able to give her this opportunity. At the same time, VISUS gets a highly dedicated, talented and competent new staff member, who could already demonstrate her skills in past projects with VISUS. Many years ago, she took over part 1 of our Basic Seminar on Visual Training, which covers the binocular analysis, screenings and basics about Visual Training. She revolutionized this block of the seminar by adding a categorizing structure of VT cases, which she developed on her own.

She also gave some new ideas for our product development, mostly in the area of VT. Customers can look forward to seeing some new inventions soon.

Since 2006 she is running a small side business: Her optometry practice "Blickwinkel" (= "angle of view"), based in Stuttgart. It is specialized on binocular vision exams and visual trainings, in order to help patients develope a better vision again. She also trained athletes there with sportsvision trainings. This has helped her regional network to grow.

At the same time, she was working as a state certified optometrist in fitting contact lenses and spectacles.

Her last job before VISUS was at IPRO, a business partner of VISUS, as a project manager for "MyEyeTrainer" - a common project of both companies.

Outside of her job, the girl from Bietigheim likes to do sports. She mostly like to recharge her batteries during a hike, on a mountain bike, on a snowboard or doing (beach) volleyball...
